A number of Rally America National Championship competitors return to action in this weekend’s Sno*Drift Summer Rally for the first time since May’s Southern Ohio Forest Rally or earlier. We’ll be profiling some of those competitors all week long leading up to the event!

For over four decades, the name Krolikowski has been a constant in American stage rally. From their early years and two 2WD and Group 5 national championships in Dodges, to nearly two decades racing a Subaru since then, Michigan rally icons Henry and Cindy Krolikowski have run just about every rally there is to run in the United States, and earned countless trophies along the way.

Their Open class Subaru Impreza has been among the top three cars in class at every national and regional Rally America event it’s run for the past two years. The Krolikowskis haven’t suffered a DNF since Sno*Drift Summer Rally two years ago, and came back from that last year by placing second overall to only Nathan Usher and Marianna Langosch.

On the regional side, they ended last year with an overall victory at the Lac Vieux Desert Rally, the second leg of the Lake Superior Performance Rally. It was their first regional win since 2013, but their 33rd regional win under Rally America sanctioning. So far in 2018, they’ve run both Rally in the 100 Acre Wood and Southern Ohio Forest Rally, topping the Open class in three of the four associated regional rallies between them.

The Krolikowskis will hit the road fourth on Saturday, behind only Piotr Fetela/Dominik Jozwiak, Dave/Mike Brown, and Usher/Langosch. Between last year’s strong results and not having to sweep the stages early on, they should be a threat for another overall podium.
