I used to race motocross and snowboard at a pro level. Unfortunately a bad street bike accident left me in the hospital for 8 months and I no longer compete on two wheels, only four wheels and a cage…
How did you get started in Rally or Rallycross?
River Valley Rally originated on the motocross track without us even knowing it. After a bad street bike accident that kept me from competing on two wheels, we made the transition to rally. Rally brings with it a rush thats equal or greater to motocross and I fell in love with the sport! Our first stage rally was NEFR 2012 and it didn’t happen easily. Our turbo swapped 1996 OBSTi had to be tweaked to run without the turbo so we swapped a frankenstein non turbo back in the car and tuned it for no boost. Our hard work paid off bringing home 3rd place and 2nd place in the regional rallies! This season we have our turbo back and we are running National Open class!
What are your future goals?
Given that I only had 2 rallies under my belt before the 2013 season, this year i will be concentrating on learning the sport, finishing races, and trying to put the pressure on the big teams!
