Grzegorz Dorman

He started his rally racing journey when he was 17 years old. Wojciech Musial who was one of his friends as well as one of the best Polish rally drivers inspired Greg to get involved in this sport. He and his driving experience impressed his to the extent that not even a month after Greg received his drivers license, he co-driven in his first event in Olkusz, Poland. Him and other rally friends like Michal Paciej kept pushing him in rally racing direction.
When he moved to US in 1998 he was devastated thinking that his rallying dream was over. However, Greg quickly recovered, went back and tried to enter “Polish Rally World” again. Lets just say that it did not work out the way he planned and he was back in US a month later. In early 1999 met Jerzy Bajno and Polish Automobile Society of USA. Soon after that he entered his first rallycross event in East Durham, NY winning the class.
Throughout the ten years of rallying experience he was associated with many teams obtaining skills on both sides of the car as a co-driver (Krzysztof Tajer, Piotr Motykiewicz, Jerzy Bajno, Eugeniusz Michniuk, Wojciech Okula, Rafal Listopad, Maciej Przybysz, Arkadiusz Gruszka, Stan Lesko,  Piotr Wiktorczyk, Timothy Rooney, Erika Detota, Peter Hascher and Evan Cline, practices - Piotr Malaszuk, Sylwester Stepniewski) as well as a driver (numerous rallycross and rally sprint events with frequent class wins). In June 2004 he joined Wojciech Okula and his WO Rally Team and became his first crew chief. Greg was responsible for public relations, logistics and service. WORT did many events and showed great potential at both regional and national levels.
Most of 2007 Greg spent rallying with Bergen Woodworks Rally Team co-driving for Rafal Listopad in VW Golf, geting top class results and some top 10s overall and finally third place in Eastern States Rally Championship in Modified 2 class.
in 2009 he joined PPD Motorsport in their quest for Super Production (SP) championship as well as X Games entry which they achieved.
In 2011 he became part of Cline Racing Sports / Exedy Rally Team and once again reached for SP championship runner-up in 2012.

How did you get started in Rally or Rallycross?
