In the interest of building rally participation in Minnesota, particularly the Metro area, the Headwaters Rally, traditionally a Coefficient 3 rally run in Northern Minnesota, will become for 2007 a series of three Coefficient 1 rallies within easy reach of the Twin Cities, a relatively inexpensive way for new competitors to begin rallying as well as providing a ?tune-up? for veterans. The first of these is Nemadji Trail.
LOCATION |
Kerrick, Minnesota
is about 50 miles south of Duluth on MN Highway 23. It?s the gateway to the Nemadji State Forest, as well as being a destination for fishermen and hunters.
CONDITIONS |
Smooth, Fast Gravel
Nemadji Trail will utilize a road by the same name about 9.8 miles long. Run twice in each direction, it will provide about 39 miles of relatively smooth gravel with minimal changes in elevation.
